Sewing Essentials: Beginner to Intermediate
Dates: August 18 - October 20, 2026
Schedule: Tuesdays (10 weeks)
Build confidence behind the sewing machine in this 10-week hands-on course for beginner to intermediate sewists. Learn essential sewing techniques while creating practical projects such as drawstring bag, pillowcase, reversible apron, zipper project, and lined tote bag. Students will develop skills that can be applied to future sewing projects.
Advanced Sewing & Serger Studio
Dates: August 20 - Octover 22, 2026
Schedule: Thursdays (10 weeks)
Designed for experienced sewists, this 10-week course expands your skills through advanced sewing and serger techniques. Students will complete projects in garment construction, upcycling denim, sewing with knit fabrics, quilting, and speciality fabrics while building confidence with professional finishing methods.
Upcoming Classes:
Students should bring the following supplies to each class:
-Sewing machine (in good working condition)
-Universal sewing machine needles (80/12 or 90/14)
-All-purpose thread (white, black, gray, and colors as needed)
-Fabris scissors and thread snips
-Seam ripper
-Straight pins or sewing clips
-Tape measure
-Fabric marking pen or chalk
-Hand sewing needles
-Rotary cutter, acrylic ruler, and self-healing mat (recommended)
